The former council headquarters \u2014 a Portland Stone office building \u2014 was redeveloped by F3Group into <strong>63 luxury apartments<\/strong>, with an additional roof extension providing 12 more units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The developers required a <strong>whole-home heating solution<\/strong> that worked across multiple floor finishes, kept build height low, and delivered efficient, comfortable heating suitable for premium residential interiors. With hardwood, carpet and porcelain tiles throughout the building, flexibility and performance were essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Solution<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Through our subsidiary <strong>Heatmat<\/strong>, Heatcom Group supplied and supported the installation of a full-building <strong>160 W\/m\u00b2 electric underfloor heating system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The solution used:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>160 W heating mats<\/strong> manufactured in Denmark with 3 mm cable for minimal build height<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>10 mm thermal insulation boards<\/strong> to reduce downward heat loss and speed up warm-up times<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>NGTouch colour touchscreen thermostats<\/strong> for modern, intuitive room-by-room control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Heatmat\u2019s technical team worked closely with F3Group for more than a year, adjusting the heating specification as materials changed and the project evolved.
