Walkers Crisps’ Leicester factory, the world’s largest crisp factory, required a roof heating system to prevent snow accumulation and ensure continuous 24/7 operation. We in collaboration with Scraptoft Electrical Services Ltd (SES), installed a heating system divided into 11 zones with robust heating cables and moisture sensors, designed to handle varying snowfall and ensure roof integrity. The system’s effectiveness ensures uninterrupted production, with each zone controllable as needed, leveraging Heatcom’s extensive experience in industrial roof heating solutions.
