Using insulation boards, self-levelling compound, and programmable NGT thermostats, the system provides efficient, discreet warmth for guests without compromising the castle’s historic charm.

To increase roof load capacity without costly structural reinforcement, Heatcom Group — through its subsidiary Heatmat — installed a 2,000 m² roof heating system at Birmingham’s LG Arena. At The Donkey Sanctuary in Derbyshire, Heatcom Group — through its subsidiary Heatmat — delivered a trace heating system to prevent frozen water troughs and pipes. Designed for –15°C conditions, the automatic, animal-safe solution keeps water flowing year-round while freeing staff from manual de-icing tasks.

At the prestigious Westbrook House development in Ascot, Heatcom Group — through its subsidiary Heatmat — delivered a fully automated driveway heating system for safe year-round access. Using 7 mm in-screed cables, temperature and moisture sensors, and a 270 W/m² output, the solution keeps the steep ramp completely ice-free while maintaining low running costs.

At the Greatmoor Energy-from-Waste facility, a steep concrete ramp for refuse trucks required reliable year-round access. Through Heatmat, part of the Heatcom Group, a high-output 7 mm in-screed cable system delivering 270 W/m² was installed beneath the surface. Equipped with intelligent sensors monitoring temperature and moisture, the fully automated system keeps the ramp clear of snow and ice — ensuring safe operation even at -25 °C.

A steep residential driveway in Greater Manchester posed serious safety risks during winter. Through Heatmat, part of the Heatcom Group, a bespoke heating system with dual heated tyre tracks was installed using 7 mm exterior cables, a ground moisture sensor, and a fully programmable thermostat. The system now keeps the drive completely free from ice and snow — ensuring safe, year-round access for the homeowner.

Heatcom Group, through Heatmat, delivered a fully automated snow melting system for airport pushback zones. Using Danish-manufactured heating cables, moisture and temperature sensors, and robust asphalt/concrete installation methods, the system keeps stands safe, efficient, and ice-free — even during the harshest winter weather.

Social Housing, Midlands (UK)
A Midlands housing association turned to Heatcom after repeated pipe failures left tenants without heating and water during freezing conditions. By installing PipeGuard units with automatic temperature control, we delivered reliable frost protection at just a third of the cost of traditional trace heating — ensuring uninterrupted comfort for residents through the coldest months.

Lee Valley Ice Centre, London
As part of a £30m redevelopment, Heatcom delivered a bespoke façade heating system to prevent dangerous snow and ice build-up on the building’s copper cladding. Using ultra-thin trace heating cables, fire-rated insulation, and fully automated controls, the solution keeps the entrance safe and ice-free — even during weeks of sub-zero temperatures.

Heatcom delivered a bespoke in-screed underfloor heating solution for a £43m luxury retirement village in Surrey. By redesigning the installation method to allow a single screed pour per apartment, we reduced costs, accelerated the build schedule, and ensured long-term comfort with ultra-low output heating cables and intuitive controllers. The result is a sustainable, all-electric system that has been running faultlessly across apartments, communal areas, and a swimming pool since commissioning.

Edinburgh Zoo’s state-of-the-art Tiger Tracks enclosure features Heat Mat’s 200W underfloor heating mats, ensuring endangered Sumatran tigers enjoy a warm, natural environment year-round.

Heatcom (via Heat Mat UK) delivered a bespoke 20 m helipad heating system, using custom cables and dual-sensor controls to ensure safe, ice-free landings in all winter conditions.

Installed in a French kitchen in 2023, Heatcom’s AluMat 140 W/m² ultra-thin underfloor heating mat provided dry, low-profile installation beneath wooden flooring—offering efficient, even warmth with a 15-year warranty.
