Coated Boards XPS
Insulation board for electric underfloor heating
- High-density extruded polystyrene (XPS)
- Cement layer reinforced with fiberglass mesh on both sides
- Reduces downward heat loss for faster heat-up
- Moisture resistant, long term water absorption below 2.0 %
- High compressive strength of 400 kPa
- Ideal surface for direct application of adhesives and levelling compounds
- Lightweight boards that are easy to cut to size
Coated Boards are insulation boards designed for use beneath electric underfloor heating systems. The board provides enhanced thermal efficiency and mechanical stability. The core is high-density extruded polystyrene (XPS), and both sides have a durable cement layer reinforced with fiberglass mesh. This gives excellent compressive strength, dimensional stability and resistance to moisture.
The boards support the loads of floor finishes and heating systems without deformation and are suitable for installation beneath tile, stone, laminate and other floor coverings.
APPLICATIONS
- Wet rooms
- Regular housing
- Walls
- Existing floor
- In screed
