HTR EX is a self-regulating heating cable designed for effective frost protection of pipes. The self-regulating matrix reduces the output when the temperature rises and increases it again at lower temperatures.
The cable can be installed externally on pipes as traditional frost protection, but also internally in drain pipes and similar applications. For external installation on plastic pipes, it is recommended to apply aluminum tape along the entire pipe length to ensure good heat distribution.
It is recommended to control the cable with a thermostat and a sensor mounted under the insulation.
