SPC PRO is a Plug & Play self-regulating antifreeze heating cable designed to protect pipes and installations from freezing. The cable automatically adjusts its heat output according to the surrounding temperature, ensuring efficient and safe frost protection in changing conditions.
Unlike traditional heating cables, the self-regulating technology continuously adapts the power output along the entire cable length. This provides optimal heat distribution and helps prevent overheating, even in cases where the cable overlaps.
The integrated bimetal thermostat ensures automatic operation by switching the cable on at +3 °C and off again at +12 °C. This provides energy-efficient frost protection without the need for manual control.
SPC PRO is constructed with a durable, UV-resistant polyolefin outer sheath and internal aluminium screening with a copper drain wire. This ensures long-term reliability, mechanical strength and safe operation in demanding environments.
The cable is delivered ready for connection with a Schuko plug, connection coupling with built-in thermostat and end termination, making installation quick and straightforward for a wide range of frost protection applications.
